About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial lending with a proven track record of managing complex loan portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and close commercial loans across various industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced credit analysis and underwriting skills daily to evaluate borrower financials and structure appropriate loan solutions.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills are essential for building trust with clients and collaborating effectively with internal teams and credit committees.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities are applied to guide junior staff and promote best practices within the lending team.
  • Analytical skills support ongoing portfolio monitoring and risk mitigation efforts, ensuring the health and profitability of the loan book.
  • Staying current with market trends and regulatory changes enables the SVP to adapt strategies and maintain compliance in a dynamic financial environment.

Responsibilities
