About The Position

VTC Bus Corp. is looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious SUV Driver to join their student transportation team. This transitional role involves operating a company-provided SUV with a regular driver's license to safely transport students to and from school and activities. While in this role, the driver will be enrolled in a training program to obtain the necessary endorsements.

Requirements

• Valid regular (Class D) driver’s license
• Clean driving record and strong attendance
• Commitment to completing training and obtaining Passenger (P) endorsement
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
• Professional, reliable, and student-focused

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students following assigned routes and schedules
• Ensure student safety during pick-up, transit, and drop-off
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle interior
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, school staff, and supervisors
• Complete required trip documentation and incident reports
• Learn and apply student transportation safety procedures and emergency protocols
• Demonstrate steady progress toward licensure and professional development goals
