About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Sustainment Program Engineer (Senior or Lead) (Level 4 or 5) to join their team. This role involves supporting the customer in maintaining and monitoring vehicle fleets in operation, providing factory expertise and recommendations, and developing new operations to meet customer needs. The position is part of a team focused on modern spaceflight.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
9+ years of experience working with Real-time Satellite or Space Systems Operations
Must be willing and able to be on call for 24/7 support
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Responsibilities

Customer Interface for providing status/updates to cost, schedule and inputs based on customers Statement of Work
Manage team and staffing for sustainment program
Manage cost and budget for sustainment program
Support program director
Provide and review technical engineering factory recommendations to customer for fleet or vehicle operations
First responder for Support fleet issues or signatures (24/7)
