Join an organization that's making an impact in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities. Ampere (the operating name of the Pinnguaq Association) isn't just another non-profit. We're an award-winning catalyst for change, activating opportunities for people of all ages in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities to unlock their potential through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Through our partnerships with communities, businesses, and technology creators, we co-design and deliver culturally responsive tools, resources, curriculums, and world-class programming across the country. We believe the best education doesn't feel like work, it feels like discovery. From our roots in Pangnirtung, Nunavut, we've grown to operate Makerspace and Skills Hubs in Iqaluit (Nunavut), Bathurst (New Brunswick), and the Kawartha Lakes (Ontario), while collaborating with partners nationwide. We provide opportunities to learners at every age and stage of life, and our mission-driven model ensures that 100% of social enterprise proceeds sustain programs that benefit communities we serve. Your work here directly changes lives. If you're passionate about making a tangible difference, this is where you belong. Ampere’s Office of Sustainable Funding, including its Strategic Development and Social Enterprise divisions, ensures the organization’s long-term viability by generating revenue to support both current and future initiatives. We secure funding for programs through grants from private foundations and all levels of government, through individual and corporate donations, and through products and services offered by our Social Enterprise division.
