Requirements

  • Position requires about 90% of the time spent walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ with about 65% of that time spent sorting materials
  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Dedication to participating in something that will have a real and immediate impact to the cause
  • Must be able to work well with other departments

  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including late evenings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in events, zero waste events are a plus
  • Creative thinker and problem solver

Responsibilities

  • Help supervise the cleaning and sustainability crew to meet our sustainability goals.
  • Work directly with our Cleaning and Sustainability Manager
  • Pick up and take out trash on an as-needed basis in all front- and back-of-house areas, including but not limited to bathrooms, VIP areas, dressing rooms, employee break areas, and throughout the venue.
  • Engage with fans and encourage them to participate in our sustainability programs through activities or education.
  • Be an ambassador to all Crew Members to help them understand their role in achieving the venue’s sustainability goals.
  • Work alongside concessions, catering, and other departments to assist in fulfilling sustainability standards and operations throughout the venue.
  • Participate and help lead the post-concert venue clean-up process (commonly referred to as the Post-Show Pick).
