About The Position

This role will embed you as part of corporate sustainability team: What You'll do Help execute the sustainability goals of the enterprise to achieve stated targets (e.g., science-based targets initiative (SBTi), net zero, renewable energy, EV100, carbon compensation), and sustainability reporting. Identify enterprise growth opportunities and establish GBT as the expert and efficient marketplace for green business travel. Support the development of an industry-leading global program that is designed to evolve with emergent trends in the sustainability space, avoid risk and capitalize on opportunities. Support the development of industry thought leadership that drives the travel sector towards net zero with industry advocacy and government lobbying. Create collateral and materials that clearly communicate program strategy, goals and metrics to all levels of an organization, both internally and externally. What We're Looking For Education: Currently completing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree (or recent graduate) in business/economics, sustainability, environmental studies/science, or related field. Knowledge of sustainable aviation fuel, carbon pricing, and/or the voluntary carbon market. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Strong teamwork and organizational skills. Ability to use Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Location United States The US national base salary range for this position is from $42,700.00 - $79,300.00 The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location. Requirements

Currently completing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree (or recent graduate) in business/economics, sustainability, environmental studies/science, or related field.
