We’re hiring a change-making student who is ready to make a positive industry impact! This internship provides hands-on experience, giving students the opportunity to apply strategic initiatives and impact assessment techniques in a real-world manufacturing environment for both quick wins and long-range benefits. This internship is a twelve-week, full-time engagement that will kick off and conclude onsite at our Kalamazoo, Michigan facility. Working closely with the sustainability lead, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to enable successful cross-functional collaboration. How You’ll Contribute This position is designed to allow students the opportunity to learn and apply skills in Life Cycle Assessment, Environmental Product Declarations, and Sustainability Reporting. Interns will spend half their time supporting LCA and manufacturer’s disclosures, a quarter of their time assessing improvement pathways for the organization in one of the special topic areas below, and the final quarter of their time advancing sustainability initiatives in decarbonization, site stewardship, and/or waste diversion as needed.
