Microsoft’s Energy, Connectivity, and Sustainability (ECS) organization within Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) supports the company’s environmental sustainability agenda through governance, market development, and enabling infrastructure required for long-term business growth. As AI and cloud infrastructure continue to scale globally, customers are increasingly seeking clarity on the environmental impacts associated with digital infrastructure—including energy use, water consumption, and lifecycle emissions. These topics are becoming a regular component of enterprise customer conversations and procurement decision-making. The Sustainability Commercial Enablement Manager will sit within CELA ECS and support Microsoft’s commercial functions by helping translate Microsoft’s sustainability commitments and progress into business-relevant narratives that can be used in customer engagements. This role will contribute to internal readiness by supporting field teams in addressing customer questions related to the resource intensity of AI and cloud technologies and the environmental impacts associated with digital infrastructure growth. In this role, you will support Microsoft’s commercial teams by enabling effective customer engagement on sustainability topics related to AI and cloud infrastructure—helping ensure that Microsoft’s sustainability commitments and progress are clearly elevated in relevant customer conversations and aligned with broader business growth objectives. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, and we are dedicated to this mission across every aspect of our company. Our Culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset and encouraging teams and leaders to bring their best each day. Join us and help shape the future of the world.
