About The Position

KURA SUSHI – Pioneers of the revolving sushi concept! Come join the Kura Krew, a team that is passionate about food, culture and providing a unique experience! This role involves preparing high-quality sushi and other menu items following Kura Sushi Standards. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness, and will be responsible for cooking sushi rice, rolling sushi, and preparing plates for the conveyor belt. Kura Sushi USA is an innovative and tech interactive Japanese restaurant established in 2008 as a subsidiary of Kura Sushi, Inc. Since the opening of the first restaurant in Osaka, Japan in 1977, the Kura Corporation has grown substantially with over 540 locations across Japan, Taiwan and the United States. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Previous sushi chef, sushi roll maker, prep cook, line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation and temperature control procedures.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality sushi and other menu items following Kura Sushi Standards.
• Cook sushi rice, roll sushi and prepare plates for the conveyor belt.
• Maintain knowledge about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness.
