Requirements

A minimum of two years' experience as a sushi cook or similar role is required.
In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
Strong knife skills and precision in handling raw fish and other ingredients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality sushi dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation.
Handle, slice, and present fish and other ingredients with precision and attention to detail.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and organized work-flow.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the sushi preparation area.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of sushi ingredients.
Uphold food safety regulations and practices.
May be required to perform other duties as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the team and organization.
