About The Position

The Sushi Clerk is responsible for providing service that exceeds the expectations of customers. This role involves preparing sushi according to company recipes and standards, serving customers with a positive attitude, and ensuring high sales through customer relationship building. The Sushi Clerk must adhere to the employee handbook, particularly regarding service standards and appearance, and consistently meet or exceed company standards in food, service, quality, and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Must be able to prepare sushi according to company recipes.
  • Must be able to use proper kitchen equipment.
  • Must be able to serve customers with a smile and a willing attitude.
  • Must be able to establish relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Must follow the employee handbook at all times, especially on service standards and appearance.
  • Must meet and exceed company standards in food, service, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares sushi in quantities according to the menu and number of persons to be served.
  • Prepares all sushi items according to company recipes.
  • Prepares all sushi items using proper kitchen equipment.
  • Serves customers with a smile and a willing attitude.
  • Assures high sales through establishing relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Follow the employee handbook at all times, especially on service standards and appearance.
  • At all times meets and exceeds company standards in food, service, quality, and cleanliness.
