About The Position

We are opening our newest location in Kirkland, Washington, in 2026 and are building a talented kitchen team. Requirements

• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Ability to maintain clean, organized, and efficient workstations
• Passion for continued education in Japanese cuisine and beverages
• Strong collaboration with BOH and FOH teams
• Knowledge of proper food and product handling and storage
• 1-2 years of culinary experience or formal culinary education

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year in a high-volume and/or guest-facing food service environment

Responsibilities

• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure consistent, thoughtful, and timely preparation of sushi bar menu items.
• Be hands-on in every aspect of sushi production, from prep to guest interaction.
• Uphold high standards of quality and hospitality.
• Progress through sushi stations based on skill level and experience, including Roll Case (Vegetable prep, sushi rice preparation, and mastering roll production), Front Case (Fish breakdown, knife work, nigiri and sashimi preparation, creating omakase experiences, and engaging with guests at the sushi bar), and Wheel (Coordinating incoming orders with production while preparing rolls, nigiri, and sashimi).
