Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (NBSCETT)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant surveying experience
  • Proficiency with GPS, Total Station, and conventional survey equipment
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software
  • Solid understanding of construction methods and survey applications
  • Ability to manage and maintain survey equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Leica equipment is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Conduct topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys
  • Prepare survey deliverables, including reports and quantity takeoffs
  • Coordinate survey activities with project managers and engineers
  • Liaise with clients and contractors
  • Supervise and mentor junior survey staff
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input
  • Ensure quality control and accuracy of survey data
