About The Position

Plan & manage ODOT survey projects from scope to delivery, overseeing creation, review & finalization of survey documents related to project. Collect & import raw field data, process, QA/QC, & deliver via .dgn basemap files for design staff use. Assist field crews on as needed basis. (Topographic survey, right-of-way/boundary surveys, control surveys, and right-of-way staking.) Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to ensure survey details/documents meet client needs and project objectives. Keep up to date on new trends in Land Surveying field. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current registration as professional surveyor pursuant to section 4733.02 of Ohio Revised Code
  • Valid driver's license
  • 12 mos. exp. as Surveyor 2, 85562 OR 12 mos. exp. in responsible charge of survey projects.
