This position is for a Survey Tech II, responsible for collecting field surveying data and operating specific survey instruments as part of the field crew. Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa candidates.

Requirements

  • Operation of specific survey instruments for the field crew.
  • Collection of field surveying data.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate surveying equipment including electronic total station, data collector, and GPS equipment, to measure distances, elevations, and angles.
  • Perform boundary, topography, ATLA, right of way, and route, control, and construction surveys.
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment, including electronic data collectors, levels, electronic total station, GPS, and survey vehicles.
  • Record accurate and clear field notes.
  • Document assignments.
  • Collect data using survey equipment.
  • Perform calculations.
