About The Position

The Innovation Project Manager will work directly alongside the National Survey Leadership Manager to support and advance field innovation, survey operations, and technology integration across multiple projects and states. This individual will play a critical role in training and developing survey personnel, supporting daily field operations, and ensuring proper implementation of Trimble technologies and survey procedures. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader with strong field experience, advanced knowledge of Trimble survey equipment and software, and the ability to mentor and develop less experienced personnel. This role will also serve as a Field Solutions Specialist supporting operations tied to the Trimble Fleet Program and overall field efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of survey, layout, or construction technology experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced experience with: Trimble Field Link, Trimble Connect, Trimble RTS Robotic Total Stations, GNSS systems and workflows, Survey project control and localization procedures
  • Strong understanding of: Proper survey setup and verification procedures, Construction layout workflows, Data integrity and field accuracy standards
  • Technology savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and workflows.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop field personnel.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to support projects across multiple states.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial or data center construction projects.
  • Experience managing or supporting Trimble fleet equipment deployments.
  • Previous experience leading field teams or training personnel.
  • Knowledge of BIM-to-field workflows and construction technology integration.

Responsibilities

  • Work side-by-side with the National Survey Leadership Manager to support survey operations and innovation initiatives.
  • Train field personnel on proper use of Trimble RTS robotic total stations, GNSS systems, and Trimble field software.
  • Educate and mentor less experienced survey personnel on proper survey workflows, setup procedures, project control, and efficient field practices.
  • Assist with implementation and support of Trimble Fleet Program operations across multiple projects.
  • Verify proper project control, localization, setup, calibration, and field verification procedures.
  • Support field teams with troubleshooting survey equipment, software, and workflow issues.
  • Travel to multiple project sites and states to provide operational support, training, and leadership.
  • Assist with improving survey standards, field procedures, and operational efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, and field leadership teams to ensure accurate layout and survey execution.
  • Promote safe, organized, and technology-driven field operations.
