Halton Region is seeking dedicated, forward-thinking, and enthusiastic individuals to join their Public Works team. This role supports Regional infrastructure projects by collecting, processing, and delivering survey data for planning, design, construction, operations, and asset management activities. The successful candidate will operate advanced survey equipment and technologies to produce accurate and reliable survey deliverables while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work through initiative, accountability, sound judgment, continuous learning, and effective collaboration. This position is eligible for the Hybrid Work Program, with a minimum requirement of three (3) days per week onsite. The Region will consider the education, qualifications, and experience of applicants when determining hiring at either the Survey Technician or Survey Instrument Technician level. Candidates selected for an interview will be required to complete a technical competency assessment.
