Survey Senior CAD Technician
About The Position
Haley Ward is looking for a Survey Senior CAD Technician who will process various surveys including but not limited to: topographic, hydrographic, construction staking, and boundary surveys. Performs survey calculations Conducts measurements and analysis for assignments Prepares maps and drawings Researches internal and property records Drafts information to be included in survey reports and related documentation Communicates with clients regarding survey questions and schedules Estimates survey costs Work is typically performed in an office setting Occasional travel may be required
Requirements
- Associates’ degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, or other related discipline
- Experience using Civil 3D
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strategic/critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, Outlook, and advanced functions of Excel
- Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
