The Licensed Land Surveyor will perform surveying, platting, and construction services using the latest Autodesk software and Trimble technology to achieve precise results. This role also involves managing surveying budgets and schedules effectively, engaging with clients on various projects, and providing budgets and cost estimates to deliver high-quality products that meet client needs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience performing professional land surveying services, managing budgets and schedules, providing cost estimates, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) Engineer in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain
  • Microsoft 365, Adobe or similar, AutoCAD
  • excel at adapting to changing project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive surveying services, including ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, as well as construction layout and platting.
  • Leverage advanced Autodesk software and Trimble technology to ensure precision and efficiency in all projects.
  • Oversee and manage survey budgets and schedules to optimize project delivery.
  • Develop and present accurate budgets and cost estimates for prospective projects.
  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
