About The Position
The Survey Instrument Operator operates surveying instruments and equipment for projects in Belle Glade and Riviera Beach, Florida. The position requires at least 1–3 years of experience, proficiency with electronic data collection, and willingness to travel out of town as project demands require. Candidates must be comfortable working 50–55 hours per week and flexible to work odd hours when needed.
Requirements
- At least 1–3 years of experience as a Survey Instrument Operator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in operating survey instruments and equipment.
- Proficiency in electronic data collection methods.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel out of town as required by project demands.
- Comfort working 50–55 hours per week and flexibility to work odd hours as required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
- Familiarity with Topcon and/or Trimble surveying equipment.
