About The Position

As a Survey Field Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our St. Charles, MO office, you'll work on surveys that vary from residential, commercial and boundary to industrial and agricultural. The right applicant should be willing to adapt to different work situations, outdoor environments and responsibilities. This person will work with an experienced crew chief, who can provide instruction and guidance for best methods and practices. Working on a survey crew at CEC means being at the forefront of diverse projects, where your expertise in topographic, boundary surveys and construction stakeouts lays the groundwork for groundbreaking regional developments. CEC Field crews use modern survey equipment and apply cutting-edge technology to our projects. This position includes, but is not limited to: Operation of state-of-the-art Survey Equipment, total stations and drones. Navigating diverse terrains and jobsites. Taking meticulous survey measurements that form the backbone of every project. Recording point and measurement data, with the preparation of detailed sketches. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of related survey experience
  • Experience with Construction staking, boundary, topographic and ALTA surveys preferred
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC), Autodesk AutoCAD 3D and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and possession of sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various field conditions
  • Valid Driver's License
