About The Position

We are SLR Consulting (US), a 500+ coast-to-coast team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals. We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. We are Making Sustainability Happen. As our new Survey Field Technician Intern, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal. Role We’re seeking a Survey Field Technician Intern who’s ready to learn and grow in the surveying profession. If you’re highly motivated, detail orientated, and thrive in the great outdoors, this is your opportunity to make your mark on projects that shape communities. Join our growing Land Surveying team in our busy Cheshire, Connecticut office location and be eager to work on a wide variety of projects in the New England and New York area.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and self-motivated (required)
• Ability to work as part of a team (required)
• Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility (required)
• Valid driver’s license (required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in land survey field work (preferred)
• AutoCAD experience (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing boundary, topographic and bathymetric surveys and construction staking/layout

Benefits

• The hourly pay range for this position is $19-$21/hr. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, experience, and internal parity.
