About Us: JMT’s Geomatics/Survey department offers an exciting work environment that leverages modern technology (terrestrial/mobile/aerial LiDAR, Drones, robotics, bathymetry, etc.), balanced with sound traditional survey procedures to deliver projects. Position Summary: Assist field crew leaders in performing day-to-day field work. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
• Valid Driver’s License Required
• Able to pass Background Check
• Able to work 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday (Minimum)
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to bend, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
• Team Attitude / Mindset
• Ability to travel required
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in field surveying techniques, including data collection, traverse establishment, GNSS surveys, and construction stakeouts

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate survey and SUE equipment
• Assist crew leaders in the performance of daily tasks
• Perform other related duties as assigned
