TRAVEL IS ALL OVER CENTRAL VA TO SITE SURVEY. We are looking for someone who has CO experience at the main switch hubs.

Requirements

Must be proficient in MS OFFICE, Excel, Word, etc.
You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work.
Are proficient in Microsoft office suites.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Have excellent time management, organizational planning, and problem-solving skills.
You follow instructions, respond to management direction, and keep commitments.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Able to manage, establish, and communicate clear goals and objectives.
CO experience at the main switch hubs.

Responsibilities

Responsible for working with Project Managers and Construction Managers to quote new Central office work to their customers to include developing the scope of work, engineering requirements, material requirements, resource requirements.
Quote new Centeral office work.
Survey the job within the report card matrix interval (or by the date given by the manager) and send to quote team and manager.
Request Venue, both power and transport.
Provide all sketched drawings for the detailed spec, (these are not venue drawings), either excel, visio, CAD, etc. (i.e.-cable rack, cable route, panduit, lighting, bay placement, etc.).
Create a BOM for all major materials. This does not get sent to purchasing, it is used primarily for the FPQ and to assist the detailer.
Work with detail engineer on any questions that arise while detail engineering the surveyed job.
Inform the FPQ Revision group whether a change order is required, if the scope of work changes after the quote has been submitted.
Take the necessary pictures of the site.
