Requirements

  • Candidate must have prior drafting experience related to landowner plat production, easements and rights-of-ways and survey plan preparation.
  • Requires knowledge of both survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts.
  • Candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills, good mechanical, and computer skills.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years of Survey Drafter / Data Technician / CAD experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Certified Survey Technician III or IV or LSIT preferred.
  • Candidates with bachelor’s degree from ABET accredited survey curriculum preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use of CAD software and ability to draft and prepare survey plans and exhibits. AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
  • Produce finished survey deliverables including but not limited to base mapping, topographic and contour data, ALTA, boundary & utility surveys, preferred.
  • Provide calculation and plotting of deeds, plans and survey documentation.
  • Produce survey exhibits, plans, plats and other drafting.
  • Provide and follow quality processes and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate and provide support to internal & external stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist with general office tasks, and other general support and administrative tasks.
