Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Suite; Photoshop and Google Earth
Responsibilities
- Draft survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, Carlson and or MicroStation ORD, ensuring they meet the required standards for KCI, and approval by federal, state, and local agencies.
- Work with a team of survey technicians and drafters under the supervision of a project manager/Professional Land Surveyor to support the practice.
- Review and interpret land survey standards, technical documents, and local jurisdiction details.
- Place Utility One Calls, manage responses from One Call requests, and interpret and process the utility data.
- Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, sketches, and plans with guidance from senior technicians and project managers/Professional Land Surveyors.
- Able to review projects with customer(s) and answer technical questions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring projects meet ISO compliance requirements.
- Strive to achieve or exceed the budgeted individual utilization target.
- Attend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address any issues.
- Consult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as required.
- Demonstrate commitment to team performance and actively participate in meetings.
- Complete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope.
- Compare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency.
