ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our Bridgeport, WV survey team. Requirements

  • 2–3 years of survey crew chief experience
  • Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors, and Trimble survey equipment
  • Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and show initiative
  • Ability to work outdoors in rugged terrain and varying weather conditions for extended periods
  • Ability to travel to project sites; schedule flexibility including some evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Operate Trimble survey equipment when performing field surveys
  • Conduct boundary, ALTA/ACSM land title, topographic, and construction stakeout surveys
  • Adhere to project deadlines and schedules when delivering survey services
  • Read plans and perform accurate mathematical and geometric calculations as needed
  • Take detailed field notes and accurately collect and report survey data
  • Complete electronic reporting of time and project outcomes on a regular basis
