About The Position
Accura Engineering is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves leading survey crews in daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and survey regulations, and coordinating with office staff and clients. The ideal candidate will be proficient with survey equipment and possess a strong understanding of survey practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience conducting a variety of surveys
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Transportation Database Surveys is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Utilize data collectors, robotic total stations, and GPS equipment.
- Perform remote file transfers on a daily basis.
- Lead crews on day-to-day operations.
- Ensure crew is properly equipped with personal protection equipment.
- Ensure crew follows company safety procedures.
- Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
- Monitor accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections.
