About The Position

AtkinsRéalis and the STM Electrification Project Office team face the challenge of playing a central role in the modernization and energy transition of Montréal’s public transit network, as well as carrying out major work affecting surface bus infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring coordination between the contractors (awardees) and the client (STM).

Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Electrical Systems, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Knowledge of medium-voltage systems and building electrical systems.
  • 5 or more years of experience in inspection and/or supervision of construction sites.
  • Any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • ASP Construction certification.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in French (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

  • Report and document any issues related to quality, schedules, or any other observations of unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Report and document any non-compliance related to environmental standards and health & safety requirements on construction sites.
  • Prepare daily reports on work progress, on-site activities, photographic records, and ensure their proper archiving.
  • Ensure that the prescribed measures are implemented to maintain STM operations (Metro/Bus) during the work.
  • Under the technical supervision of the site engineer, participate in the development of the inspection plan and the project quality management program.
  • Participate in quality management meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform any other related tasks that may contribute to the successful completion of the project.
