About The Position

Responsible for protecting the company’s assets by monitoring property activities and recording irregular activity through the use of video surveillance equipment, proper documentation, and communication of all activities. The above is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of essential functions for the job described, but rather a general description of some of the responsibilities necessary to carry out the duties of this position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess report writing skills, word processing and computer skills.
  • Must have a broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures, and administration.
  • Knowledge of policy and procedures affecting the casino.
  • Must be familiar with current surveillance technology.
  • Familiar with cheating games and cheating methods.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift schedule.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be reliable (good attendance and punctuality), organized, flexible, and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Blackfeet Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must be able to respond calmly in a crisis and stressful situations.
  • Must be able to see and also remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
  • Must be able to operate all surveillance equipment.
  • EXPERIENCE WITH DATA ENTRY AND DATA MANAGEMENT.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Internet skills. Ability to create forms and spreadsheets using tables and formulas.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Reports any illegal or unusual activities to the surveillance shift supervisor.
  • Utilizes necessary equipment to respond to, identify and record questionable activities in the Casino area.
  • Keeps a low profile in relation to communicating with other employees.
  • Conducts close up surveillance of slot machines, gaming tables, cashier’s cage and slot booth operations.
  • Tapes count room activities through the use of the surveillance systems equipment.
  • Observes all casino and cage transactions through the camera system.
  • Maintain and gain knowledge of all cash handling areas, Gaming, and support areas.
  • Document and communicate activity through data entry and two way radio systems.
  • Performs all other duties assigned from time to time.
