The Surveillance Technician is responsible for the testing, alignment, repair, and proper operation of all surveillance equipment on property, including closed circuit televisions and electronic security devices. This role involves attending daily briefings, installing and maintaining surveillance equipment, repairing damaged or malfunctioning equipment, and maintaining a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission as it relates to surveillance equipment capabilities and required coverage. The technician will also implement preventative maintenance programs, maintain and program computer-controlled matrix switches, inspect power supply and wiring, and manage inventory of equipment and supplies. Consultation with management and vendors on equipment needs, facilitating departmental information flow, and working on projects to achieve departmental objectives are also key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role requires informing senior management, conducting oneself in a gracious and professional manner, and performing other assigned duties.
