About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye and attention to detail to monitor a series of screens, spotting threats before they escalate. The position is ideal for individuals with strong observation skills who can work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses.

Requirements

• Must pass an extensive MVR background check
• Must be 21 to operate a company motor vehicle
• CPR required (willing to train)
• Experience leading and developing a small team
• Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and security-related software platforms
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• State license if required

Nice To Haves

• Basic scheduling experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and accept additional responsibilities through training
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience
• Ambitious with an entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
