About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify potential threats before they escalate. The role involves observing screens in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, and helping protect people and property. The position is located in Westlake, Texas, and pays $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Monday and Tuesday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. GardaWorld provides a uniform at no cost and describes opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• State license, if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
