About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Kansas City, Kansas. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to identify threats and suspicious activity, documenting events, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, and helping protect people and property. The officer may work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses.

Two schedules are offered: a part-time schedule on Friday and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.; or a full-time schedule on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The position pays $18.57 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
