About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Portland, Oregon. The role focuses on identifying threats through careful observation and maintaining the safety of people and property. The officer conducts foot patrols throughout the entire shift, documents events and incidents, responds to potential threats, and helps secure premises and restricted areas.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for 40 hours per week. The hourly wage is $23.90. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols throughout the entire shift.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
