About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Surveillance Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard? What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail. As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc. Site Location and Type: Washington DC/ High-Traffic, Mixed-Use Commercial Buildings & Public Transit Hub Scheduling will be based on site needs. Scheduling will vary so the ideal new hire should have open flexibility to take any schedule. Weekends are required. Must complete 16 hours of OJT. Full time hours are not guaranteed. Competitive hourly wage starting at $24.44/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) Seeking an adaptable and highly vigilant officer capable of managing a fast-paced, multi-use site. The ideal candidate will seamlessly transition between high-volume visitor engagement (providing directions and information), event crowd control, and proactive building patrols across multiple floors, while maintaining a calm and authoritative presence during diverse public encounters.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent (GED)
Able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more
Active DC security license
At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
Must have experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems.
Must have experience with Incident/ DAR reports
