About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for monitoring security systems and spotting threats before they escalate. You will work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses. This is a part-time position with a set schedule on Saturdays and Sundays during the 1st shift (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.) in Minneapolis, MN. Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Must have military, law enforcement, or Level 2 security experience, or be currently enrolled in or have completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or Peace Officer & Public Safety.
• Level 2 certified or willing to get Level 2 certification.
• Have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
