About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye and attention to detail to monitor security systems and identify potential threats. The Surveillance Security Guard will be responsible for spotting threats before they escalate in various environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. This is a full-time position with a set schedule, Monday through Friday, 1st shift (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.), located in Shoreview, MN. Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Must have military, law enforcement, or security experience, or be currently enrolled in or have completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or Peace Officer & Public Safety.
• You have a state license if required.
• You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
