About The Position

The Surveillance Observer is responsible for protecting and serving the departments under the Surveillance department's vigilance with the utmost ability and skill. This role is crucial in maintaining game integrity by strictly enforcing adherence to rules, policies, and procedures by all Dakota Sioux Casino employees. The observer will investigate any and all reports or indications of cheating, theft, or loss of revenue, providing a complete and conclusive report of each investigation. A thorough knowledge and understanding of all gaming products offered at Dakota Sioux Casino, including the ability to play the games and knowledge of dealing procedures, is required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Available to work all shifts and weekends (Day, Swing, Graveyard).
  • Ability to handle diverse situations/or people.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate excellent attendance practices.
  • Must be able to work 8+ hours if necessary.

  • Possess and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all gaming products presented for customer play on Dakota Sioux Casino property.
  • Demonstrate ability to play the game and knowledge of dealing procedures.
