The incumbent is responsible for performing surveillance duties to ensure state and federal gaming laws and policies and procedures are being maintained in games, cashiers and count rooms. This role also provides security for VLT equipment, monitors jackpot and floor fill data into the SIS Computer, and performs surveillance of the gaming floor, parking lot, parking garage, back-of-the-house areas, outbuildings and shops by means of complex electronic and video equipment. The position requires delivering superior internal and external guest service the Boyd Gaming Way and working harmoniously with fellow team members. It involves observing and reporting gaming violations and/or thefts, operating monitor room equipment, and maintaining video surveillance of the entire gaming facility. The role also includes participating in court actions, learning all games and their cheating indicators, maintaining logs, and responding to various requests. The position is required to spend the majority of shifts in a small enclosed work area and requires the ability to work varying shifts and time schedules.
