About The Position

Monitors surveillance equipment to protect the assets and interests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort (CWCR) and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards as well as applicable, local, state, Tribal and federal laws.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
  • Organized: Possessing the trait of being organized for following a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Time Management: Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Accuracy: Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to understand/calculate basic to advance math calculations.
  • High School Diploma.
  • One year of experience in Gaming, Loss Prevention, and Law Enforcement or equivalent field required.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to obtain Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must be available to work any shift on a rotating schedule.
  • Prohibited from gambling or entering any contests or promotions at (CWCR).
  • Continue training on an ongoing basis.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Passing a background investigation.
  • Completing a 180-day introductory period.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality over all Casino, Surveillance Department, Siletz Tribal Gaming Commission, and Tribal matters.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for collection and distribution of sensitive information.
  • Identify and report regulatory, procedural and safety issues as well as issues pertaining to local and federal law.
  • Monitor casino areas and operations to ensure assets and interests are protected.
  • Assist in investigations, audits, and reviews.
  • Prepare reports, records, and logs.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and make repairs and/or notifications.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
