About The Position

Our team works collaboratively to ensure every patient receives exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey. This role does offer a incentive payable within your first payroll. OSMC is hiring for a full time and PRN staff member in at our Granger ASC in the Surgical Technology Department. We are looking for you! You must have previous OR surgical instrumentation experience to apply. Full time consists of 3-10/hour shifts within one week or PRN shifts are 2-10 hour shifts in a 6 week period.
Requirements
- Previous OR surgical instrumentation experience
- GED/High School Diploma
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of Surgical Technologist program
- CST experience
- One to three years prior surgical assisting experience
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery setting
Responsibilities
- Managing instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
- Understand the procedures being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
- Ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and remain constantly vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.
