At South Shore Health, our community-based health system offers Surgical Technologists the opportunity to work across a wide range of specialties, supporting both adult and pediatric patients in the operating room. Our Surgical Technologists play a vital role on the perioperative team, collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative assistants to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. You’ll gain experience in both scheduled procedures and emergent cases through our Level II Trauma Center. This role also offers a minimal call requirement (averaging three shifts per month), promoting a strong work-life balance. Qualifications: • Prior surgical technologist / operating room experience required • Certification preferred, completion of Surgical Technician Program required. Compensation Pay Range: $33.84 - $45.54

Requirements

  • Prior surgical technologist / operating room experience required
  • Completion of Surgical Technician Program required.
  • Graduation from a formal accredited surgical technician training program preferred.
  • Copy of Surgical Technology program certificate required.
  • Must be certified within 12 months of completing a Surgical Technology program. All Surg Techs who did not work prior ro 7/1/13 are required to be certified.
  • OR experience preferred.
  • CST-ERC - Certified Surgical Technologist (Examination Review Committee)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • ERT - Emergency Response Training
