About The Position

As a Surgical Technologist in our ASC facility, you will assist the surgeon and nursing staff in providing professional care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgical procedures. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in an OR or Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures
  • Ability to anticipate needs and stay steps ahead during cases
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and organizing the operating room for procedures
  • Maintaining a sterile field throughout all cases
  • Anticipating surgeon needs and passing instruments efficiently
  • Performing surgical counts in accordance with policy
  • Assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and sterilization processes
  • Supporting turnover between cases to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff
