About The Position

We are currently hiring for a full time Surgical Technologist within the Surgery department here at Aspen Valley Health. This is a short-term SEASONAL position with an anticipated start date of September 24, 2026 and an expected end date of April 10, 2027. The Surgical Technologist (ST) will communicate with all other members of the Perioperative team to give the highest standard of care according to AORN standards for patients in the intraoperative period. The ST works collaboratively with co-workers, stocks and orders of supplies for department. The ST provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.

Requirements

Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.

Nice To Haves

2 years recent O.R. experience preferred.
Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures.
Prepares the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner.
Communicates with all other members of the Perioperative team to give the highest standard of care according to AORN standards for patients in the intraoperative period.
Works collaboratively with co-workers.
Stocks and orders supplies for department.
Provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.
