About The Position

FirstChoice Certified Surgical Technician-1 is a part-time position within Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, FirstChoice. This program utilizes experienced Surgical Technologists to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, offering nationwide and regional opportunities. The role involves floating throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions, demonstrating standard elements of professional practice, acting independently within the scope of knowledge and experience, retaining accountability for delegation and outcomes, collaborating with stakeholders, and embracing new ideas while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST
If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military – Five (5) years’ work experience is required
Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
Ability to complete the orientation and training.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
