About The Position

Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a Per-Diem Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) for their Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). This role offers a convenient day shift schedule. Requirements

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent
• Six months of operating room experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Surgical Technician certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Functions as a cooperative team member in the Surgical Services department.
• Provides constant technical assistance to the surgeon within his or her scope of practice.
• Follows the current professional practice standards, rules and regulations set forth by AORN and AST.
• Willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the institution.
