About The Position

Overlake Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Labor and Delivery unit. This is a per diem, night shift position with 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills, the ability to multitask, stay organized, and deliver excellent care in an efficient and compassionate manner. This is a versatile role that involves assisting with stocking, supporting vaginal deliveries, and providing scrub experience for surgical cesarean sections.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required.
• Surgical Technologist licensure in the State of Washington required.
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.
• One - two years of Labor & Delivery OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub experience for surgical cesarean sections
• Assisting in the department with stocking
• Helping with vaginal deliveries
