Surgical Technologist CVOR per diem
About The Position
Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the CVOR Department. This role involves setting up sterile supplies and assisting surgeons. The Inpatient Surgery department is a 17-suite OR that handles a variety of cases including Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Bariatric, GYN, Robotic, Vascular, Endovascular, Urology, Plastics, and General cases. The department performs a combination of inpatient and outpatient procedures, primarily on an adult population, with an average of 850 procedures monthly. The team operates on a specialty team-based practice model to ensure consistent, knowledgeable, and experienced staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based training program.
- Surgical Technologist licensure in the State of Washington required.
- Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.
- One - two years of OR experience preferred.
