About The Position

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join their nationally recognized team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment with 14 ORs and over 12,000 cases annually, serving patients from neonates to young adults. Requirements

Completion of a formal Surgical Technology program (college, vocational school, university, hospital, or military), or prior employment as a Surgical Technologist before December 28, 2020, or completion of an accredited military training program, or current certification from a nationally recognized credentialing organization.
0–2 years of experience required for entry-level Surgical Technologist.
CPR (AHA standards within 30 days of hire)
Act 33 Child Clearance
Act 34 Criminal Clearance
Act 73 FBI Clearance
Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience in surgical specialties such as: General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Plastics & Reconstructive, OB/GYN, Thoracic, Ophthalmic, Neurosurgery, Organ Procurement, and Endoscopic settings.
Certified individuals must meet credentialing body requirements.
Non-certified individuals must complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years.
